5-6 garlic cloves

1 teaspoon jeera

Tamarind

4-5 chillies

½ teaspoons turmeric powder

½ teaspoon coriander powder

Salt to taste

Method:

Step 1: Take 4-5 teaspoons in a kettle and add medium size chopped tomato. Cook for 10-15 minutes in low flame and stir in between. After the tomato is cooked, spread it on a plate and let it cool down.

Step 2: Grind all the above mentioned ingredients along with the tomatoes cooked & cooled down in step 1. Finally add takda of 2-3 teaspoons of cooking oil, mustard seeds, jeera seeds & curry leaves to the chutney.

Andhra special tomato chutney is ready to serve.

Tip – Make sure the tomatoes are red & ripe soft. The chutney is meant to be pungent however you can regulate the quantity of chillies as per your taste.
